Privacy Policy for Sage

Last updated: April 28, 2026

Sage ("the app") is a weather application for hunting and fishing planning. This privacy policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is used.

Location Data

The app accesses your device's location to provide weather forecasts, sunrise/sunset times, solunar tables, and other location-dependent information for your current position. Location data is processed on your device and sent to third-party weather services (listed below) solely to retrieve forecast data for your coordinates. Location data is not stored on any server operated by the developer, is not associated with your identity, and is not used for advertising or tracking.

You may revoke location access at any time in your device's Settings. Without location access, you can still use the app by manually searching for or selecting saved locations.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

This information is not transmitted off your device. It is not backed up by the developer, not shared with third parties, and is removed when you delete the app.

Third-Party Services

The app retrieves data from the following public weather and environmental services. When the app makes a request to one of these services, your approximate coordinates are sent to that service so it can return forecast data for your location. The developer does not control these services and is not responsible for their privacy practices.

Analytics and Tracking

The app does not collect analytics, does not use advertising frameworks, and does not track users across apps or websites.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
